Tikur azmud -Black seed

It is a drop-shaped black seed that is used both in cooking and in traditional Ethiopian medicine. It comes from the seeds of the flowering plants Nigella sativa. Nigella seeds have a strong aroma and a flavor profile that has notes of onion, oregano, black pepper, and slightly nutty.
