Berbere

It is a spicy but flavorful blend of spices. Berbere is the backbone of Ethiopian cuisine and has sun-dried chili peppers as its main ingredient. The magic happens when you add small portions of garlic, nigella seed, cardamom etc..

Suggested Uses: Beef stew (wot), chicken, minced meat, lentils, and ful (broad bean dish).

Ingredients: Ethiopian Chili Peppers, Garlic, Ginger, Bessobela (Holy Basil), Korerima (Black Cardamom), Abish (Fenugreek), Tena Adam (Rue), Tikur Azmud (Black Cumin, Nigella Seed), Kundo Berbere (Black Pepper) and salt.
